At Consider This, our mission is gut health = immune stability.

Tess has long struggled with migraines, multiple food sensitivities, and chronic inflammation due to MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome) and Dysautonomia. Her husband, David, a neuro trauma physician, has helped her understand the connection between microbiome health and immune stability, which has been key to her healing.

They took on the #30plantsaweek challenge for gut health and Tess followed a low-histamine, low-tyramine diet for her chronic migraines and MCAS.

Along the way, they noticed most protein bars are packed with sugars, sugar alcohols, and artificial ingredients. Even the best bars have only one or two plant ingredients and common allergens such as whey and nuts. The multiple food sensitivity and gut health community needs more options!
